Petaluma Veterans Day Parade

The Petaluma Veterans Day Parade is the largest in Northern California. The parade route makes its way through downtown Petaluma. Dozens of old airplanes will fly over, Veterans will march proudly – by foot, Tanks, Corvettes and lots more unique modes of transportation!

Mission Statement

  • We remember how men and women set aside their civilian pursuits to serve their nation’s cause, defending the freedom of mankind and preserving our American heritage.
  • We salute past, present and future members of our armed forces.
  • We recognize service to our country and her cause does not end with termination of military service.
  • Out of blood and sweat we learned of purpose, sacrifice, tolerance, bravery, and discipline. In our continuing quest for an honorable world peace, we must cultivate these virtues.

Veterans Day is always a great way to honor your veterans, and many of the first responders are veterans, so it was a good way to tie it together,” Kemmerle said. “After what happened with the fires, we need something to bring us together, and I would say the parade is a good way of doing it.”
