American Legion Petaluma Riders Chapter 28 escorted the Walls that Heal (Tribute to Vietnam War veterans) from Petaluma to Windsor with Healdsburg Riders Chapter 111, Amvet Riders Sonoma, other riders. Also, participating was the Petaluma VFW Post 1929, other Veterans, and the California Highway Patrol on March 26, 2019. The meeting location for the Escort was At Lagunitas Brewing Co.

The Event

The Wall that Heals,  the replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial was open to the public around the clock through Sunday afternoon at Wilson Ranch Soccer Park in Windsor. Volunteers, including Coast Guard members, Petaluma VFW members, Petaluma American Legion Riders Chapter 28, Healdsburg Riders Chapter 111, Other Veterans Groups, Veterans and first responders, turned out Wednesday morning to assemble the Wall That Heals. 

The Vietnam Veterans memorial includes the names of 58 men officially listed as Sonoma County residents when they were killed or went missing in or near Vietnam between 1956 and 1975.
