American Legion Petaluma Riders Chapter 28 Update January 13, 2019

The Petaluma AL Riders 28 met on Jan 9 at the Petaluma Veterans Hall at 6 pm.  They accomplish the following task needed to get their charter from the Department of California Riders:

  1. Drafted by-laws to be approved
  2. Elected officers
  3. Set a meeting time and place

  • Vice-President – Gary Thornburgh
  • Secretary – Brian Bokkin
  • Treasurer – Shelly Bokkin
  • Sergeant at Arms – David Screen

Chapter Meeting Date, Time, and Location

Date: Second Tuesday of Every Month
Time: 6 pm
Location: Petaluma Veterans Hall, 1094 Petaluma Blvd S Petaluma, CA

Actions By Petaluma Post 28

  •  The Post passed a motion to give the Petaluma Riders Chapter 28 pay the $50.00 application fee and give the chapter seed money of $500.00.
  • Commander Rob Marello appointed Bob Hockenberger as the Riders advisor for the Post
  • Petaluma Post 28 gives their full support to the riders

Paperwork Filed with the Department of California Riders

Secretary Brian Bokkin submitted the paperwork to Fred Branson, Area 1 VP for the California Riders for review and submitting to the Department Executive Committee for the final approval.  Thanks to Brian and the rider team for their diligent work at getting these important task done.
